Enough affordable, adequate housing for everyone

This generation seems to have an issue that previous ones never really struggled with – easily accessible housing. With huge deposits required for mortgages and such a high demand for housing, many people are either stuck in the renting cycle or on an endless waiting list for a council-owned property.

The Guardian recently reported that we are in the midst of a housing crisis and that we are only building half the amount of homes we need:


 Shouldn’t a right to adequate, affordable housing be written into our constitution?
